We want to remind all families that you can continue accessing and activating your student’s free Metro GoPass. Make sure you activate your student’s GoPass so they are able to ride the Metro at no cost this summer and into next year.
In 2021, Los Angeles Unified and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) announced a plan to provide every TK-12 student with a GoPass that can be utilized for free transit on all Metro-operated transportation as well as several adjoining municipally operated transportation providers. This game-changing partnership enables our students to access additional educational opportunities such as internships and employment, as well as visit the hundreds of arts and cultural sites across Los Angeles and other meaningful experiences and recreational activities outside of their immediate neighborhoods.
Within the next week, your student will receive a message in Schoology with their unique eligibility code that they can use to activate their Metro GoPass.
