MORNING DROP-OFF/ARRIVAL PROCEDURES

 

Morning entrance gates will be open from 7:30-8:00 am for TK-5th Grade students. Please do not drop off students before 7:30 am as there is no supervision. UTK/CC and PAL students must be dropped off at 7:55 am.

AFTERNOON PICK-UP/DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

 

Students will be escorted by teachers to their assigned gate at dismissal. The parent/guardian will meet their child at the gate. Students must be picked up at their dismissal gates within 10 minutes. Only students enrolled in the YDP and YS after school programs will be able to stay after school from dismissal time until 6:00 p.m. daily. The assigned dismissal gates are as follows:

A parent or guardian, not a minor (less than 18 years old), must pick up the child. No minor is allowed to pick up students.
ALL CAMPUS VISITORS MUST:
  • Obtain a Visitor's Badge and obtain the principal/designee's approval before proceeding to the classroom or on the campus.
  • Sign "In" when you arrive and "Out" when you leave in the Visitor's Log Book located on the counter in the Main Office.
  • Keep the classroom observation time up to 20 minutes. 
  • Request an appointment for a teacher-parent conference by completing a "Request for Teacher Conference" form available from the Main Office Staff. Return the "Request for Teacher Conference" form to the Main Office Staff. Give at least 24 hours for the teacher to contact parent to set up appointment.
  • Return the Visitor's Pass to the Main Office before leaving the campus and sign out in the Visitor's Log Book.
SOME IMPORTANT RULES FOR VISITORS:
  • Enter and leave the classroom as quietly as possible.
  • Do not converse with students, teacher, and/or instructional aides.
  • Do not interfere with any school activity during the visitation.
