Youth Development Program (YDP)- Participants are in grades K-5 - free supper for the community with a 4 rotation program. Students participate in homework activities for 1 hour per day. We have recreation activities where coaches teach the students new and fun games!! There is a read aloud activity, where students are read to and questions are asked about the story. In addition students participate in enrichment activities such as art, chess, etc. Effective management strategies are taught and think, pair, share, strategy is used daily to make sure that students actively share and communicate their ideas and share responses with peers.
