Foster Care Counselor

Brief Description of Purpose/Focus of Program:

PSA – Foster Youth Achievement Program (FYAP) promotes academic success by providing on-going support services, as well as, collaborate with parents, school staff and community partners and individual counseling to further support students. The focus and goals are to improve student success by promoting school stability, proper transfer of school records, increase school attendance, monitor educational progress, and work with parents to enhance involvement in the educational process.
